Uses: It is an important intermediate for organic fluorine synthesis, advanced chemical synthesis, fluorine-containing surfactant, organic intermediate and electroplating intermediate. As aliphatic compounds used in the synthesis of fluorinated surfactants. It can be used in chrome plating process as a chromium fog inhibitor to prevent the production of dangerous chromic acid fumes. The amount of chromium mist inhibitor used: the amount of perfluorinated hexyl ethyl sulfonic acid added per liter of plating bath is 0.1ml - 0.4ml.
